Northern KY
Are you referring to the bought hay or possibly chopping silage?
One thing about the hay, here I can buy all the hay i need for $30-$40 a bale. I also pasture every acre I got which is another reason I buy the hay. The silage scares me a little because of not having any equipment to do it, And no place to put it, bunkers or silos. I think over time it would definitely pay for it self in the long haul. There are no custom guys here to chop it either. Im all ears on how to go about doing it and add things as we go.
