Mud is definitely a issue, we usually do get some days in January where the ground will be froze up good. Could just feed them on pasture then, the corn silage thing is definitely something I've considered. Ive got another 10 acre plus the 20 we pick that I could chop the corn then plant to rye/wheat. Also could haul manure back on those acres
