west-byGod-Pa. | When I was in college, I worked at Wendy’s. The beef was delivered ground, unfrozen by regional suppliers. Now, I do not know. Since Covid, their quality has gone to garbage. I am greatly shocked & dismayed.
When I worked for them, the chicken was real, whole fillets: came 2 20# packs to a box-frozen. We thawed them, dipped them in a breading mix, & pressure cooked them in a Henny Penny. My favorite sandwich for ?35? Years was a Wendy’s chicken sandwich-club style: cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato. Oh, my: so good. Now? Almost inedible. Hamburgers are terrible as well. And the chocolate Frosty-don’t get me started: tried one about 2.years ago: “ what the ….?” I taste SOY in this! Just recently saw in-line that they indeed are adding soy-but only in Alaska & Hawaii: LIARS! They’ve done it system-wide. The only thing left that is any good is the bacon & cheese baked potato.
