Pittsburg, Kansas

That is kind of my attitude. I had green beans today because we ate out at Rib Crib for lunch. I will sometimes have a salad while eating out for the same reason. It is what is available and comes with the meal.

About the only significant source of fiber that we eat at home would be avocados. Eat them pretty regularly and we also often have dill pickles, olives and onions on the table or in something. We don't go out of our way to make sure we get fiber but we also don't avoid it like the plague. I just think it is unnecessary but if it tastes good and doesn't have a lot of carbs I don't mind eating it.

Early on in our low carb transition we used to eat a lot of green vegetables. We just slowly migrated to more of a meat based diet with less and less veggies.

Edit: will also buy a jar of sauerkraut sometimes also. Good source of vitamin K2 I have been told. Doesn't make the bathroom smell any better though when I eat it and my wife definitely notices. That is one thing we both noticed as we reduced our fibrous food intake. Have to run the bathroom fan a LOT less. And women just don't consider farting as a sport like some guys do. Not going to win any contests without the farting fiber. :-
