Deal chapped my ass several years ago. Govt came up with some incentive program to no till beans. I don't remember what it paid, but it was several $ per acre. BTO neighbors who had never no tilled a bean got paid handsomely. Me, who had been no tilling beans for years "didn't qualify". Was a little miffed. Same thing for early cover crop programs.
