They are doing that not because of some unfair advantage, they are doing that because they don’t bid every last dollar on land and have a vast supply of land to expand on.
Regulation is just a false narrative many push. Actual direct production costs are similar. It’s the US farmers habit of new paint and wanting to farm the county.
