Who is the "large acre farmer"? Is it the guy that wants another 80, or the guy who wants YOUR 80? Lack of diversity on the farm is as much to blame as anything. No one raises hogs, cows, chickens, hay, etc any more. It's 16 rows of planter, 8 of combine, 120' of sprayer. Get it done fast to get to the lake house. Don't need small business, lots of kids, and neighbors helping in the hard times to do that.
