Iowa - Floyd County
I don't strip till but I band my fertilizer on 22" rows. The biggest issue, for me at least, is the customized equipment. There are companies that make 22" strip till equipment but the cost is nuts. I need to build a new bander but the cost and then having to customize most things to fit anyway keeps me putting up with my current one. I don't see any reason there would be an issue with getting the residue through a strip till bar, we plant no-till into more residue than that without issue.
