Subject: Grain Cart Girl Math

Since none of us know nothing here.....perhaps you can explain this to us.........using the governments own data

The current budget deficit (trumps budget.....nothing to do with anyone else) is 1.78 trillion dollars

The current "income" from the tariff is 195 billion. ( according to the US Department of the Treasury) thru sept 30

According to government agencies........the proposed $2000 per person tariff rebate will cost $300 to $600 billion depending on how you
consider who qualifies.

The cost of the tariffs to american farmers is difficult to figure......there is the increase cost of inputs, from parts, inported chemicals (herbicides),
fertilizers, equipment. Then there is the loss of farm income from lower commodity prices......

The propossed "bailout" from usda is $13 billion (the other bailout under trump was $20 billion)....but according to those in the farm banking industry,
the cost to agriculture was far more than 13 billion, according to one, it would have been at least 25% of the 195 billion the tariffs have brought in so far.

so.......first..........we have the biggest budget deficit in HISTORY
The tariff rebate will cost MORE than the "income" that the tariff have brought in !!!

And understand, that tariff income will be down.......since some have been reduced........and the high court is deciding if trump could do what he did.....and
if not......it has to be given back.......so we will be in the hole even more with no way to refund the refund checks !!!!!

let me explain it in ways that you, as a grain cart operator would understand.

your cart has a digital weight display.

a deficit is like a hole in the cart.....there is less grain you put into the truck than what the combine dumped into your grain cart
it is a loss.....the combine dumped 500 bu into your cart........and you dump 400 bu into the truck....the difference between the two number is the
deficit (deficit in grain harvested)

so in the case of the rebate checks.......where it will cost more than what is taken in, by almost a factor of 50 %.......
so.......if the combine dumps 500 bu into your cart......by the time you get to the truck waiting at the edge of the filed, you only have 250 bushels left.....

this calling people games........is what people did in grade school.......

but for what it is worth, at the recent interview, trump said that 2/3 of the american people are not smart enough to work in factories......that is why we need to
have workers from other countries........

hope you are done harvesting by now, rain is on the way.
