I started farming in 81. Thankful for the 3 year grain reserve in 85. Saved my rear. Didn't seem like a lot of money but it made a big impact. This isn't as bad but I am also looking at it from a different position. Having assets now lets one sleep better than having little or nothing to one's name back then.
