anyone who stupidly thinks it is worse now than the eighties did not experience it in person... i DID,,,,, and farming now is VERY profitable compared to that time
I agree and I'm old also but I sure see a lot of commonalities. I think the pain is coming.
Back then we farmed with equip't we good afford, drove plain vehiclers and didn't eat out all the time or go on Island vacations
A lot of farm families now live a pretty rich lifestyle. Lot of Plantium pkps. and Cadillac or Lincoln Suv's in farm country
Saving grace for some now is wives may have a high paying job with benefits
