cropsey, il 61731 | A lot of this assumes current EPA rules stay in place or worsen. It appears that a lot of regulation was created by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats. The chevron doctrine (congress passes the buck) allowed this, but has since been struck down (and rightfully so). In the diesel world, I've heard resetting it to 2009 and getting some congressional action on it. I would guess ethanol would be unaffected since that came around prior to 2009, but I don't know about the jet fuel. One thing about the original jet fuel plan is it excluded US made ethanol in favor of South American. Apparently they fudge numbers better than we do. I thought that was pretty outrageous unless you were on the right side of the payday. | |
