I agree with everything you said and would add this. The only thing that is going to sway any significant bean sales to the US is a serious weather issue threatening production in SA. Beyond that China will continue to buy the bulk of their beans from SA. China is heavily invested in SA infrastructure and that will continue to be their primary focus. You can't make someone buy something they don't need or can buy cheaper elsewhere. Especially if they are heavily invested in "Elsewhere". Political moves against China make the problem worse but probably not by a whole lot.
