There were times they bought U.S. beans, and times they bought SA beans. If one was more competitive than the other, they'd buy those. Well, guess what. The balance got shifted, and WE shifted it. 




The balance has been shifting towards China buying more beans from SA for decades.    We didn't shift it, the market did because prices were high enough to encourage more production in SA.     Those Hectares aren't going to be taken out of production so I'd suggest that everyone figure out how they're going to survive without China buying large amounts of US soybeans going forward.
