Townsend, Montana | No need to mandate it. If consumers want US beef, they will buy beef with a US label. If we the consumer demand US beef with our wallet, we will get it. Only place for the government is to set a labeling standard and enforce it.
At the end of the day, price is all that matters to the majority and they couldn't care less where their beef was raised.
