Western Ontario
Just getting ready to start a 62’x120’ hoop. 16 foot inside drive through feeding/scrape alley, 6 foot concrete wall. Building( 5 chimneys, turkey curtain panels on ends, doors) and all concrete installed right at $40/ft Canadian which works out to $28.60 US$ as of today. Hard to beat the environment, bright and lots of air space, we’re tucked up close to Lake Huron and have a lot of humidity even in the winter and sometimes a crazy amount of snow. Also have 2 stick buildings we’ve built in the last 5 years, like them as well but cost more to achieve the same environment. Just replaced a tarp on a 25 year old 40x100 tarp building and reinforced the pressure treated posts (basically doubled them up and lagged new posts to them) paid $14k for new tarp and post installation so right about $10k US$. Buildings for livestock are just a reality where we are.
