$4 an hour at the farm when I started at 13. Walked bean fields , stacked squares, sprayed round up off old bus seats mounted on the front of a tractor. And countless other crap jobs.
Worst job was loading tires that had been piled for years that were full of water. Had to throw them into a tandem axle grain truck over the side. Must have been shorted sided lol.
I have done so many crap jobs that I can’t even remember, never scared of work, but regretted saying yes many times.
Always had beer money once I figured out how it tasted when I was fifteen… 2 hours worked equalled 24 beers | |
