Maybe someone else applied for and got the job. A girl friend maybe. And he is just carrying out the daily grind.
That's quite likely. When I was growing up my parents had a part time job delivering automotive classified advertising magazines to convenience stores every week. When my brothers and I got our driver's licenses we ran the magazine route when mom or dad had more important things to do. The only oversight of private contract delivery persons is when they pick up the load and destination complaints.
Was it the “auto trader”? I and most 14-15-16 year olds had stacks in our closet. Couldn’t wait to get the new one. Ink all over my hands
