Floyd County, Iowa | As near as I can tell, pretty much everyone is a member of a minority of some sort.
Whites are the minority compared to the sum total of all non-whites (blacks plus Asians plus Indian, etc).
Blacks are the minority compared to the sum total of all non-blacks (whites plus Asians plus Indian, etc).
Pick any specific "category"- they're comparable.
Religions work the same way (Catholics vs non-Catholics, etc).
About the only thing that would be a definite majority or minority would be male vs female. | |
