N.E. MO | Not to sound dumb, or infer that this hasn’t been checked, but is it possible that they inadvertently bumped some switches on the side panel? Not sure on that specific machine, but most every hoe I’ve run has numerous switches over to the right, with one of them being a swing lock and another that controls the automatic idle. Wondering if they may have raked their hand along there or something accidentally and bumped some switches.
Edit to add: Just saw where you said it goes to working after it cools down, so disregard what I said.
