Hmmm. I have read some of your other past posts....I am no expert, but I have had a 2388, 7130, and now a 7160 that I have been able to get it well calibrated to my cart scale. I have never used the "fast cal" function. I don't like the wizzards. I like to do it manually through the advanced cal. There is nothing more advanced about the calibration function....you just have to know the steps and how to manage the tasks. It should just be called "manual" calibration. You have to be sure that you make a new task and then change to a task other than the calibration task before you can enter the weight. I start a new task, then rename it "cal hi, cal med, cal low, etc. so it is easier to find it later to assign the weight. Variety tracking can really screw stuff up when you are trying to calibrate because it will change to different tasks if you go in/out of the variety zone.

My 7160 was new this year. The first load in corn was off 30%. Second load was maybe 5%, then +/-1-2% for the other cal loads. Advanced cal accepted the 30% error load without any issues. I remember the 7130 being similar, too.
