When this government shut-down started, I thought to myself..... The air traffic controllers don't realize how much (political) power they have.... if the air traffic controllers walk off the job, the government logjam would be solved, the government would be opened, and people back to work. Watching the news, I think that is what is going to happen... the people who fly will not stand for not being able to fly, and this government standoff will be settled soon.
