typically your rear axle of the tandem drives is your primary drive axle. The air ride is set based on how much the frame deflects or is loaded and it adjusts for that.
Your power divider lock is what powers the front drive axle which you shouldn't have engaged going down the road anyways. At most it might feel like a bobtail truck compared to having a good load on it for handling.
