Macon, IL
Saw a couple autonomous tractors running here this fall-doing tillage.

We can all hate it-but its coming and its going to get better and better-exponentially. The safety systems they have on them are pretty stringent-to the point of being detrimental to productivity-but that will get smarter too.

Guess I am glad I am old enough to have enjoyed the "glory days" of farming-post open station stuff with comfy cabs and autosteer-but still needed someone in there. I'll be retiring before that tech becomes affordable at my level of farm but if I was a younger guy I would get to learning and embracing it. I suspect many of things were said during the transition from horses to tractors.
