I'm guessing it will boost whatever signal it's picking up. I'd usually have three or four bars outside then pretty much nothing once I stepped inside. My Samsung wouldn't work on WIFI calling worth a crap so I was constantly missing calls and even text messages. We've been very happy with our booster.
