We have a white 435 and it struggles with heavy trash, not familar with a chopping head and using it though, im going to try a 510 Deere this fall, I realy want a wilrich 957 but might be over kill too

the 435 id give credit to 6-8 inches of depth, I assume the ripper is achieving 12+

so its more a case of, where is your compaction layer, if any, a heavy disc at 3-4 inches will burry alot of trash
