Holly Hill, SC | It is the yield monitor, not loss. You are changing flow rate thru the system which the yield monitor reads differently. My old Case combines have been good about being consistent on different flow rate. My newer 6150 has been awful. Flow thru the machine can come in two methods: harvest at two different speed in the same yield environment, or yield changes and speed is the same. My 6150 can be calibrated prefect for 200 bu/acre corn at 5 mph and reads a full tank at 270 bu. Then move to 100 bu/acre corn and still run 5 mph. Full tank reads 120 bu. Very frustrating. | |
