Northern Indiana | I ended up making a spreadsheet that gives me the filter number, how many on hand, how many were last ordered, application, cost, sale price and total cost of inventory. If the filter number changes, the spreadsheet will show both numbers and note the change.
Then I can create a printout by filter number and application.
Also in the Maintence record book we log all the filters needed for a machine.
All we do is look up the machine we are working on, get the filter from the cabinet and wright it down on the logbook that it was used. I update the spreadsheet as needed.
There is a good deal of money to be saved at filter sale time.
