central kansas reno county | Just going through recovery from shoulder surgery now. Was in a bad accident 11 weeks tomorrow. Long story short im 2 weeks post surgery today. I had my 1st pt appointment the following Monday. Can't really do much but they have my shoulder moving. I guess the Dr had to break a bunch of scar tissue before he started surgery. Ive got 2 more weeks in the sling and then I can get rid of that at 4 weeks then the real pt starts im sure. The pain is less now then before surgery. I took a couple days worth of pain meds then started weaning myself off the pain meds. I still take 1.5 at night so I can get some sleep since I wasn't sleeping before trying to catch up on sleep some. And for the bowel issues my wife found a tea called smooth move. It works great. Im doing pt 4 days a week so that seems to be all I get done. Hopefully I can get back to close to 100 percent by spring time. I never want to go through this kind of pain again mental and physical. |
