The S3 isn't compatible with the eDriveXD/XC and will only run with the older eDriveTC or eDriveX.
The eDriveX uses a different proportional valve than what you have on there now so your simplest bet might be to just find a used eDriveTC controller to buy. In Front Ag in Deer Creek, MN usually has a couple of them available for sale if you want to check with them
