We have a 9330 on a S77 and we had to have the potentiometers adjusted. It would not calibrate for our older machine. They must be set more for the S9’s. Ours was “hunting” terrible and that calmed it down and now it works good
We adjust every single header we see...I don't care if the factory "sets" them or not, we adjust them when doing Pre-Delivery
S8 and older has to be higher that about 0.8V and lower than about 4.2V to work, above or below those voltages and it sees an open or a short.
S9 and newer doesn't give a hoot, as long as it sees voltage and changing voltage, it will calibrate and work.
