Deere dealer down the road here sold all their manuals for a $1000 awile ago , said they didn't need them as it is all online now , was told this by a former employee , somebody got a good buy .

With Deere that makes sense. All their service manuals from the time the 2 cyclinders ended production are in the Service Advisor software. So every tech already has a copy on their laptop anyway. I doubt many JD techs have ever touched a two cylinder to even need those manuals

Can the general public find those as well? I've managed to find the normal operators manual online through them but its a pain to use.

Sort of. You need to buy a"used" version of Service Advisor. There are a lot of options but Ebay is good and legit. It's easiest to buy a complete laptop because the program essentially ties up a the whole computer
