South cental Ohio | I don't get why everyone thinks that Drago heads are so maintenance heavy. We grease our head about every 100 acres---which only takes less than 10 minutes and we usually clean the head pretty thoroughly about every other day or so--- which takes a maximum of a half hour. I feel that we don't spend anymore time on maintenance on our Drago than we would any other head and the benefits of the Drago far out way any other head on the market. BTW, 8 row GT is what we have.... obviously a larger head would take a few minutes longer. I'll end with "you don't HAVE to clean and grease it religiously" but if you want it to function properly, you should do it. But it will keep working as good as other heads if you do nothing to it. So I guess other brand heads don't need any maintenance at all LOL ? | |
