Sask | Never seen a shunt setup used for metering ac current, shunts were always used for dc current. Maybe a design exists to use a shunt for an ac system but would need an explanation as to the advantages of that vs just a donut current transformer.
Should add that in the pictures the shunt is showing a DC ammeter and the currenttransformer is showing an ac ammeter.
