North East Kansas
This doesn't give me much hope. I do wonder who is truly to blame, and I doubt its fully or even at all on case or trimble since I've had people reach out with all kinds of brands having the same issues. Some are driving deere and some are using agleader. I know that precision planting has the worst support that I have ever seen. I also know that my pro 700 shows the planter and tractor doing exactly what it's supposed to. Too many things are pointing entirely to precision being the problem. When I set the heading to calculated in the 20/20, precision knows exactly where the planter is when I back into a corner. Then when I pull forward it does the planter flipping thing several times before figuring it out. When I set the heading to gps only, the 20/20 suddenly always makes the planter push to the left when backing into a corner, but the planter never flips. That tells me its entirely on precision planting because when it only used gps heading it keeps the correct heading and never flips. When it tries to calculate it, then it screws up which shows me the information coming in is correct. And also my pro 700 looks perfect every time when backing into a corner and then pulling out. Lastly, the 20/20 monitor never shows these speed blips like the data shows. If it was truly getting fed bad data wouldn't the 20/20 show these speed changes? The absolute biggest reason this seems to be a precision planting problem is because somehow my planter speed shows up perfect when I downgrade software back to version 2019. So somehow their older software can figure it out, but the newer stuff can't.

After having viewed all the people that have had trouble with this issue, it seems crazy to me that precision has gotten away with not fixing so many people's problems. I thought this is entirely what consumer protection was supposed to protect you from. The 20/20 is a precision planting product. It's not up to other manufacturers to make their product work. I can't believe farmers have let precision blame everyone else for their product not working while somehow everyone else has gotten their stuff to work. We have had this same tractor for many years and somehow case's planter doesn't have these issues using the same hardware. Every planter we have hooked to this tractor has worked fine with this same hardware, except the 20/20. Precision needs to be on the hook to hire some decent people that know what they are doing and fix their darn products for everyone that has paid a lot of money to them for a product that was supposed to work. Just the fact that I was able to find the problem, and precision somehow couldn't is pretty bad. They somehow didn't notice all these crazy speed changes causing acre issues, but they sure could blame my seed sensors that worked just fine with older software. The phantom seed drop on turn rows only shows up on the newer software.
