SOIL | We used to have a 20/20 controlled planter connected to the 372/700/Nav2/DigiFarm as PP suggested, but it left gaps in the field a couple years. Short gaps, but dozens of them that caused yield loses and opportunities for lots of weeds. Sent some data to PP, they said the 372 was reporting the tractor twisting 90 degrees and causing the row units to clutch off for 1/5 of a second.
I tried hooking it directly to the 372, but then it wasn't corrected by the NAV and ended up showing my planter as running backwards at times.
After dealing with this for a couple years and getting nowhere, I ultimately pulled all the Case guidance out, and put an Agra bridge with a Deere display and receiver and fed that steam to the 20/20. Best the 20/20 ever worked, and now I'll never use a Case guidance system for anything other than driving straight lines.
I now use a Deere ExactEmerge and will only buy Deere tractors to pull it with, and that combo is less buggy than the PP system was. | |

Gen 3 20/20 Found my issue. Would I have any issues installing old software?
