NE WI | Cheap ones are just that and can be off 5% or more.
At work we use an Omega HH-314A temp/humidity meter. It’s been pretty reliable and hasn’t had any out of tolerance findings as it’s calibrated every year.
It has a serial interface and can data log the temperature and humidity. Can be used with a 9V power adapter for continuous use. Has an extra thermocouple input. Can be set to F or C.
However they are discontinued but can be found on eBay. Make sure it has the CD for SW and the serial or USB adapter. If it has just the serial cord can use a USB to serial adapter. These can be calibrated to NIST standards by most metrology service providers.
The new HH-414 from Omega isn’t very well liked.
Or a Fluke 971 but I’m not familiar with them.
