West-Central Missouri | If you are replacing the right one only. Going by the book may be easiest. I can send you the instructions from the repair Manual tomorrow. I assume my 9510 would be similiar to a 9400.
Here is how i replaced all of them.
Slow seperator fan to slowest speed and shut off combine.
Measure or mark bearing and pulley locations on shaft.
On left side:
Slip fan drive belt on left side out of lower pulley.
Remove set screws and remove fan drive lower pulley. (The outer half was really hard to get off. I could not get a puller in. I got it by wedging blocks between the pulley halves with inner half unbolted and up against the shaft shoulder.)
Remove right side shaft bearing and flanges.
Check seals in pulley hub.
On right side:
Unbolt and remove pulley just up and behind fan shaft. I think it is the chaffer or walker drive. Just unbolt the pulley from the hub and pull off. This is for extra space to work.
Remove fan drive speed sensor.
Pull fan drive shaft bearing.
Loosen speed tone wheel set screw and make sure tone wheel slides.
Next unbolt fan shroud front bolts from bottom grate.
Next you need to remove grate under fans. There are (9) bolts going vertically on each side. Then 4 larger bolts horizontally and 4 or 5 horizontal bolts on front and back of grate.
Next remove grate. Lift front of grate, slide to one side and slip out the bottom on an angle.
Next unbolt back of shrouds i used a 3/8” drive and wobble extension for this.
Mark fan location, orientation and clamp orientation.
Next loosen muffler clamps on both sides of fan hubs.
Spray Wd40 or similar along shaft so fans slide easily.
Have one person Slip shaft out of left side as another works rotors and shrouds off right end of shaft underneath.
I was able to slip fans and then shrouds out through bottom.
