My 8230 has a dislike for rough ground or or quick Hydro lever movement, especially backwards. Sometimes if I stop quickly and pull back quickly on the propulsion handle or if I'm trying to back up quickly on rough cultivated ground, a warning comes up on the screen saying something about that my hydro line is disconnected or something similar. I can go usually forward but not backward. If I go forward a little then slowly ease into reverse, I can go backwards again. Every now and then I can't even go forward. I then have to restart the engine, basically like rebooting a computer. There are times that I start up and can't move or switch gears and the screen doesn't show a gear number.. It seems after restarting a time or two all is back to normal. At the summer Combine Clinic the Tech said that it's somewhat common because the wiring bundle under the armrest is somewhat binding or tight and that I need to open up the "shield" and clip the zip ties to release tensions and improve connections. Anyone else have any similar issues and what did you do to fix the issue? I guess everything is electronic with no actual physical cables. |
