Coles County, Illinois | The problem with the guys saying run it at 38.9 amps is they don't know the whole system. Whoever decided to put a 10 Hp motor on this didn't have the luxury of putting a 8.3 Hp. motor or whatever the perfect size would be. They probably had a choice of 5 Hp or 10 Hp and maybe they didn't know what the rest of the system could handle. So I'm not a lot of help. In an industrial setting we would have interlocks and amp monitoring plus historical maintenance data. | |
