| I have high hour 9610’s and a 9600. I had some health problems that I was unsure of what the outcome would be a few years ago. We decided to buy an S680 “to save time”. It had 2,000 engine hours. It promptly blew the engine and caused more downtime and a higher repair bill than I ever had with a 10,000 hour 9610. If you want Hillco, that’s fine, but I doubt you’ll gain anything else. It’s a gamble, especially on one with 5,000 hours. We do all our own repairs and if there’s anything that is easier to repair on an STS I haven’t found it yet. Others may disagree. Just my experience.
