Here, it would be run at 38.9 A. We put ammeters on all "critical" motors, ie anything downstream that if it gets overloaded causes a mess. And then we adjust loads up to the nameplate. We have put hundreds of hours on auger motors running at full load amps.
I buy ammeters for a few bucks off Ebay, usually shipping is more than the item. Not hard to wire in.
