Running an older IH 1460 combine that is in great shape and served me well. So, let’s assume I will be running the same combine the next 10 years. I know that’s a big assumption….

My old 863 corn head is worn out and time to be retired. Which series corn head should I go with to work well on a 1460. I will need to stay on 6 rows. Let’s assume money is “no object” in the recommendations and then I’ll figure out what fits my budget later on lol!

Thank you!

Well, since you put it THAT way, I'd be calling this dealer TOMORROW.

Someday, they may build a better head.  I'm not sure what they will change from a GT though.

I would be interested in the side augers possibly if you want to reduce your cost.  You could remove the twin chop stuff also and possibly sell that if you aren't interested.  You don't have to spin them on a GT even if they stay on.
