SW OH | It depends on what defines making it. Anything can be fixed and keep it running forever. The one we have is an S365C and has 4,100 hours on it. We got it as a rent to own with about 500 hours already on it. The asphalt crushing crew has had it from the start. They have a strong reputation for tearing things up. They usually get a well used PC360 or CAT 336. They usually break the boom and tear up many buckets.
The Sany is as mechanically sound as other brands. The cab interior and sheet metal are different. The cab is smaller and less ergonomic. Lots of plastic that’s already breaking and falling off. The cabinet doors and engine hood are already cracking and breaking.
I’m sure it will make it to 10,000 and probably 15,000. It may look like 25,000. We normally get rid of excavators around 10,000. We had a 375 that went to 18,000, 2, 245s running daily with unknown hours, a PC800 with 18,000, and 2 EX1200s with 27 and 13,000 hours.
