
| Farm Boy 37 - 10/31/2025 08:10 Grainger has bigger pulleys, up to 36” at least. That would get it down to just under 200 rpm with a 4” drive pulley but they’re very expensive.
And it would likely require reconfiguring the motor mount to accommodate much longer belts.
It’s hard to tell from the pic but it might require moving the auger discharge higher above the dryer to allow room for that large of pulley as well.
Lots of ways to slow down that auger. Some are easy but not cheap, some are cheaper but not easy. 1 gives give the flexibility of variable speed, the rest don’t.
