Remember you probably do not HAVE to heat the whole house. If you could heat strategic rooms in the house, then that would decrease your load on the heating system.

Here is something that I am watching. Solar panels with breaker boxes are what some people on youtube use when a hurricane hits the coast. For me, there is no grid power close to my place. For what I would pay for grid power I can get a pretty fancy battery system for house, house well and irrigation well (small 100 gal/ min).

I am looking at this for my cabin. I am looking at the Eco flow Delta Pro Ultra X. The X will do 240 volt system without cheating.
