I would look into a ventless propane heater with the oxygen and NoX sensors. Wouldn't require power to produce heat.
I use wall mount ventless heaters in each end of cabin to backup heat pump. Been used last 3 winters during outages. Thinking about getting bigger tank and use as main heat source in coldest months.
