Concerning ShopTeacher's #2 suggestion. The Headsight folks covered this by providing both a 4 pin and a 6 pin ISO connector in their harness. The installer uses whichever one mates and caps off the other.
This would be functionally equivalent to his suggestion of making a tee to provide both styles.
