Subject: App Rate Module with Raven

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Yes, I have done that with a 450 and the idea is the same. You would need the Ag Leader Application Rate Module and a special cable to connect the 660 to the Application Rate Module. The cable plugs into the Application Rate module and the 9 pin connector on the rear of the 660. I happen to have one of those cables that I no longer need. You make some setting changes in the 660 and create a configuration in the Ag Leader.

With that arrangement, The 660 would control the NH3 application as it does now but also send information to the Application Rate Module and Ag Leader display. The Ag Leader display would then create an Applied Rate Map and various totals.

A variable rate map could even be created on a USB stick, then the target rates could be transferred to the 660 at the appropriate time and place so that it would apply different rates in different parts of the field. I did not use mine that way but it would have been possible.

This gives a very complete system but does not handle automatic section control or auto swath. The operator would still need to turn the NH3 ON/OFF with a switch such as you are presently doing.
