SOIL | That would be fine, we have a bean planter that does something similar. The tractor has two domes on top, Trimble and JD.
The Case tractor is guided by a separate Trimble system, but the bean planter has it's own 2630 display, SF6000 receiver and CAN harness. The harness has the option for an ATU, but the drivers prefer the integrated system.
Their are harnesses available from Ag Express to tap into the Case guidance for GPS signal, but I would personally just keep the SF3000 on if you can. Less likely for issues to creep in. I'll tell a story about my experience you care to read it! | |
